Hei
ReplyDeleteKom plutselig over din blog, gjennom it,s give away day,og ble din følger,så klart!

Thanks for the giveaway! I use a Bernina Bernette 66. I like it because it's a good basic machine. I can't say I love it, but it is dependable!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance to win :) I have a singer and i love that it is pretty well idiot proof :)
ReplyDeleteOhhhh I was so much looking forward to this fabulous post! Absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI use my good old Singer sewing machine and I have a brother.

Gina

ReplyDeleteI love my Janome memory craft mostly because my mom bought it for me. :P
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Fabrics! Thanks for the opportunity to win! I have the Babylock Sophia 2, and what don't I love! I think my favorite thing is that I can use it to both sew and machine embroider.
ReplyDeleteOHH I was just about to buy a few yards of this line! I have a Baby Lock Ellure Plus sewing machine, and I love that it does embroidery as well as I cannot hand embroider heh. I've tried but miserably failed, so many times.
ReplyDeleteI use an old Singer and I love it since it used to be my grandmas!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE Tula Pink! I haven't bought any Nightshade yet, but it's on my list. I use a Janome 6600 and my favorite feature is the dual feed foot. It's really just a fabulous machine all around but that was the selling point for me.
ReplyDeleteI cant' believe you're giving that away! I love that line so much! I have a brother xr-7700. I love it because it's computerized. It just makes things a little easier :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome new fabrics!! I use a Pfaff Tiptronic 6470 that is about 10 years old and she is my work horse. What I love about it is my husband bought it for me years ago as surprise birthday gift - it was so thoughtful of him to go research and purchase it as sewing is alien to him (and still is).
ReplyDeleteI'm using an Brother/innovis NS-80. I honestly love that I don't have to use a foot pedal anymore, just press a button. Incidentally, I just discovered this fabric on Friday and I am IN LOVE with it!!!! Thanks for posting the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI have a Janome 6600p. I love the built in Dual Feed option. I also like the additional room for quilting. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI use a Kenmore, it is old so I do not know the specifics. I love that it weighs very little.
ReplyDeleteI use a Janome 6600p and I LOVE it, the large space for quilting is so wonderful! And thanks for this giveaway, I adore tula pink and haven't been able to get any of this yet!

ReplyDeleteWow those fabrics are rockin'!
ReplyDeleteI use a 'vintage' (euphemism for old ;) ) Kenmore, it's really basic but it works and as long as I occasionally clean and oil it, it never (seldom?) complains. I do love that it was free... ;)
I use a Singer Futura and I love how smooth it sews
ReplyDeleteI use singer quantum, and it has never failed me yet!
ReplyDeleteI love Singer machines - I don't know the model number of my current machine but it's a trooper - sews through anything.
ReplyDeleteOoh wonderful giveaway! Thank you :-) My machine is a janome, and I love the needle threader, the button that makes sure you always stop in needle up / needle down position, and the speed control dial... I just wish I'd thought to get a machine that would accomodate an extension table :-( my model wont...
ReplyDeleteAwesome fabric! What a great give away, like to give that a chance too! Thanks for organizing! My sewing machine is a Bernina 150, and it always runs well for many years yet! Kind regards, Conny

Hi :-) I really love this fabric line from Tula Pink, it's so cool!
ReplyDeleteI sew on a brother machine, I got it 12 years ago as a 21st birthday present. It's temperamental and has to be coaxed and cajoled into doing most things, but I'm so used to it's funny little ways, I don't know what I would do with a machine that worked perfectly! LOL!
I use a Bernina Virtuosa and I love the needle down facility
ReplyDeleteI have a New Home Memory Craft from the 1980's that I bought on craigslist. It is awesome! It has all the stitches and feet I need. She's an oldie but a goodie! (I also have a Juki, which is super awesome for piecing and quilting, but alas, she is in storage!).
ReplyDeleteHello from Minnesota! I use a EuroPro 8260 that my mom picked up from the curb and gave to me this January. With it, I'm learning to machine sew (and learning about the awesome online community of sewing as well.) I've used the walking, zipper, and buttonhole feet but haven't tried the darning foot just yet.
ReplyDelete(EMAIL: marshudson at comcast dot net); thanks for chance to win this great prize! I use a 25-year-old Kenmore 12 stitch and what I like about it is that it's "low tech" and rarely has any problems. Of course, sometimes the downside of it is that it's "low tech" ;>)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! What a generous giveaway! Love the Nightshade! My sewing machine is a Brother SE-350. My husband picked it out for me and I love that it has about a thousand features for less than $1bazillion (I only know how to use about 5 of those features, but that's not important!) - and so far, even though I have to fight with the big quilts, I've been able to piece and quilt all of my projects on this little trooper!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, honestly I'm not sure what my sewing machine is. I've had it for about 6 years, and the make of it has long since rubbed off, it's been loved that much! I've never had any problems with it, and I love the fact that it has willingly sewn anything I've thrown at it, from sheer voiles, through to layers and layers of denim and leather! I'll be really sad when I have to replace it.
ReplyDeleteI use a Brother 2600-i.
ReplyDeleteI love that it'll do almost anything I ask it to. Quilt a queen-sized quilt? Sew some toddler shorts? It says, "SURE!"
I have a Janome 2160 DC, that I looove! My favorite thing about it it one loop-de-loop decorative stitch. I loon for any chance to use it!
ReplyDeletei use a viking lily. and i love that it's soooo quiet. thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI have a brother cs-6000i! i just got it a few months ago and i love it because... unlike my old machine, there are no tension issues! no jam ups every 35 seconds! it's amazing what you can get done with a machine that works properly! :)

ReplyDeleteI use an old Singer. I love it b/c it's the same machine my mom has, and the one I learned to sew on!
ReplyDeleteBernina from the 1950s. I love that its so sturdy, I can sew pretty heavy duty stuff with it.
ReplyDeleteI use a Janome DXL603 and I love that it seems to be able to sew anything I throw at it without whimpering and crunching before grinding to a halt like my old machine did. I love that I can sew multiple thick layers of interfaced dec weight of fabric to make bags and it just sales along as though it weren't doing anything magical!
ReplyDeleteI don't own a machine! I like to sew by hand, but that's okay since I'm mainly an embroiderer anyway. ;) I'm hoping to get a machine later this year though.

Pretty fabrics. I have a Viking Quilt Designer that I love. It has a couple dozen needle positions for accurate seaming, which I like very much. I also have a light-weight Janome for classes and traveling, and that one is nice too. I like the 12 lb weight of it for lugging around! Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI have a Bernina 380 and love how it quilts and the 1/4" foot. I don't like that is has very littl space (harp? sorry I don't know how to say it in english) for quilting...

ReplyDeletemframe00@gmail.com
I use a Janome 6600. I love the integrated walking foot.

ReplyDeletesntbosch(at)msn(dot)com
I'm embarrassed to admit I use a cheapo Singer Simple that I got at JoAnn Fabric on sale for $70 three years ago after my daughter snapped the spool pin off my old (somewhat better) Singer. It was all I could afford with a toddler and a new baby!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I love about it is that it only cost me $70 and it's actually still working after three years. I'm due for an upgrade when we get our next tax refund... xo

ReplyDeleteOh, super cool fabric!
ReplyDeleteI use a Janome, and I'm in love with the magical threading mechanism. (I learned to sew on a machine that's much older than I am.)
I have a Bernina 440QE. LOVE that machine. There's nothing it can't handle. No seam too thick. Totally ready for anything. It doesn't have a bobbin sensor or a thread cutter but I don't miss that at all. Dealer support is amazing! The feet change so easily and in just a few seconds. I have big hands/fingers so the screw on feet aren't for me.
ReplyDeleteI have a Singer something. I aspire to a fancy-dancy machine but don't think I sew enough at this time to warrant the expense. Maybe someday.
ReplyDeleteI use a Pfaff Quilt Expression. It is super easy for free motion quilting. :)

I started out with a very cheap Brother (it's amazing I ever wanted to sew again) Once I knew I was in love with sewing I bought a Bernina Aurora 430. When I bought my machine I didn't think I was ever going to quilt haha and so I had to buy all the extras that the Bernina Aurora 440QE had. You being a quilter would opt for that one for sure. It has speed control, a million different feet to choose from, the BSR (Stitch Regulator), and Bernina dealers are really knowledgeable about their product. They are pretty expensive, but you get what you pay for. I pulled a project out that I had worked on before I got my Bernina and thought oh my goodness this looks horrible! You will find most people are pretty loyal to their machine brand. You need to shop around and try out several brands and see what works for you. Good Luck sorting through all this great advice :)
ReplyDeleteI have a Brother SE400, and I LOVE the automatic needle threader!!
ReplyDeleteI sew on a vintage Riccar and I love that it was free! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI use a basic model Bernina Bernette. It's a great little machine and it works like a dream, never has trouble with tension, and only ever asks for a little oil. :) I am hoping to upgrade it at some point to a machine with a larger harp space though for quilting. I entered a sewing contest hosted by Bernina and voting began today, so fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteHi! I have a Brother and I love that is has a needles threader and the bobbin threads comes right up.

ReplyDeleteI use my 22 year old Janome for all my quilting and patchwork. It never misses a beat and that's what I love about it. I think its virtually indestructible (touch wood!) and I love my old girl! Love that fabric! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI use my old embroidery machine for doing sewing now. The embroidery unit is kinda worn out. The sewing part works okay but it has a lot of functions.
ReplyDeleteI have a Kenmore I've had for about 12 years. I got a new Singer, but I still sew on my Kenmore. It just sews through everything. Do I wish it had a few more bells and whistles? Sure, but right now it does the job!
ReplyDeleteI have a Toyota Jeans Plus. It is my first machine and, like you, I bought it with no idea that I would get into quilting. I'm making my first quilt right now, so we'll see how it holds up. For general use, I like that it's easy to use.
ReplyDeleteI use a good old reliable Brother that was given to me in 2004, and I love that it survived years of mistreatment when I left the nest and moved to university during my non-sewing years when it was left behind at my parents' place and abused by my sister and her not-so-successful attempts at sewing!! Thanks for the chance to win - those fabrics are just stunning.
ReplyDeletei use a janome and i love the heaviness and sturdiness of it :)
ReplyDeleteI use a Brother CS6000i and I love it because it's easy for a beginner like me to use, but has a lot of versatility so I can sew anything, even knits, on it!
ReplyDeleteI have a janome and I love the 1 step buttonhole.
ReplyDeleteI have a Janome Magnolia and I love how light it is!
ReplyDeleteI have a Brother Galaxie that I got from my mum when she ungraded. I love the needle down function most but also the wide range of decorative stitches

ReplyDeleteI bought a Brother after my Viking Designer 1 finally gave up, just not worth investing to have it repaired. I like my brother, does everything I want it to.
